In brief
- We only process data you send us or what we need to run your session and accounts.
- No ad cookies, no sale of data, and we do not train AI on your recordings.
- Working files are kept for up to 24 months after the last session unless agreed otherwise.

1. Who is responsible?
Peonscale B.V. ("Peonscale"), a private limited company (B.V.), registered at Van Ostadestraat 184, 1073 TS Amsterdam, is the controller for personal data processed through peonscale.digital and in direct contact with you: enquiries, bookings, recording, mixing, mastering and billing.
Managing director: Maarten de Vries. Trade register 87793067, VAT NL885537890B01. Privacy contact: [email protected] or 020 737 4826. We have not appointed a data protection officer; it is not required for our scale.

2. Scope
These rules describe how we handle data from anyone who browses peonscale.digital, sends an enquiry or becomes a paying client. When we capture voices or guests only for a company that hired us, that company remains the controller; our data processing agreement and their documents apply to those individuals.
Studio work spans vocal recording, band sessions, mixing, mastering and podcast recording. Rates and workflow notes sit on services overview; practical questions on FAQ.
3. Data we process
Contact form: name, email, optional phone, chosen service, optional preferred date and your message. Required fields are needed to reply; without an email we cannot send a quote.
Booking and delivery: billing details, artist or band name, project description, correspondence, payment references. A 30% deposit may apply under our terms.
Recordings: voice, performance and names in file names are personal data when they identify someone. We use them only to deliver the service.
Technical: TransIP B.V. keeps server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security. Your cookie choice is stored locally; see cookie policy.
We do not ask for special-category data. You do not need to share medical details to reschedule a session.

We do not sell or rent data. No marketing newsletters unless you explicitly opt in.
5. Recordings, image, minors and AI
We do not publish session excerpts, recognisable studio photos or client names on peonscale.digital without your prior written consent.
Client recordings are not used to train, test or improve artificial intelligence systems. We do not create voice clones without separate written authorisation from the person concerned.
The online form is intended for people aged at least 16. Sessions involving younger performers are arranged through a legal guardian.
6. Recipients and processors
Only staff who need the data for their work have access. External parties may receive data when necessary:
- TransIP B.V., hosting for peonscale.digital and email, within the EU/EEA;
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co, United States), forwarding the contact form to [email protected];
- accountant, for billing data, bound by confidentiality;
- bank, for payments;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Each processor is bound by a contract under Article 28 GDPR. Business clients: see our data processing agreement.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Website hosting and storage are primarily in the Netherlands/Europe. FormSubmit processes form content in the United States. That transfer is needed for your enquiry to reach us; we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and, where relevant, your explicit request via the form.

8. Security
We apply appropriate measures: HTTPS, restricted access with individual accounts, strong passwords, locked premises outside sessions, encrypted backups where supported, and deletion of working files after the agreed period.
If a breach poses a risk to your rights, we notify the Dutch Data Protection Authority and inform you when GDPR requires it. No online transmission is completely risk-free.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send requests to [email protected] with enough information to identify you. We reply within one month; complex cases may be extended by two months with an explanation. You may lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch DPA), autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. Contact us first via contact page — most issues are resolved quickly.
10. Cookies
We do not run audience measurement or ad networks on peonscale.digital. The site remembers your banner decision in pnsc_consent_v1 for 182 days. Adjust that decision through or read the cookie policy.
11. External links
The site links to map services and public sources. Those parties apply their own privacy rules; we are not responsible for their processing.
12. Changes
Effective from 16 October 2026, last updated 16 October 2026. We amend this policy when our services or law change. A new version replaces the previous one on this page. Material changes are communicated to active clients by email where appropriate.
