1. Purpose and scope
Peonscale B.V. publishes this statement for peonscale.digital under European accessibility rules and Dutch implementation for consumer-facing services. It covers information about our recording studio at Van Ostadestraat 184, De Pijp, Amsterdam, not third-party platforms where you later release music.
The Dutch version is authoritative; this English page is provided for convenience.
2. Standard and status
We test against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA where feasible for a static marketing and information site. The site provides text alternatives for images, logical headings, skip links, visible focus and responsive layout.
We do not claim full conformance: we address remaining items from internal reviews and visitor feedback. Last content update: 16 October 2026.
3. What works well
- Text can be enlarged via browser settings without breaking layout.
- Forms on contact associate labels with fields; errors are shown in text.
- The cookie banner offers equivalent buttons and is reachable via .
- Language switch between Dutch and English is available in the header.
- We do not use autoplay video or loud media on the site.

4. Known limitations
Decorative motion: some visual effects may distract sensitive users; we honour prefers-reduced-motion where the stylesheet supports it.
Maps and external links: OpenStreetMap and other sites follow their own accessibility policies.
Deliverables: masters are delivered by agreement (files, not streamed on this site); formats are discussed in FAQ and terms.
Studio access: Peonscale is in De Pijp, about a 6-minute walk from De Pijp metro station (M52). Trams 1, 3 and 7 serve Ceintuurbaan; from the Stadhouderskade stop it is roughly a 4-minute walk. On-street parking is limited; public transport or cycling works best.. There is no private car park; the entrance has thresholds. Call 020 737 4826 if you need help on arrival.
5. Physical studio access
Our 3 rooms include a live room of about 32 m² and a booth of 9 m². Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00, closed on Sunday.. For wheelchair users or heavy gear, tell us in advance so we can keep a clear path and assist at the door if needed.
Safety and occupancy (up to 6 musicians in the live setup) follow our house rules; see about and services.
6. Testing and improvement
We combine manual checks (keyboard, screen reader samples, contrast) with automated checks during build. Findings feed layout updates; feedback email retention is described in the privacy policy.
When we identify a serious barrier, we prioritise a fix or a clear alternative (for example booking by phone instead of the form).
